Welcome to The Lamppost!

I’m Jessica, and I’m so glad you’re here. I live in St. Louis with my boyfriend and our incredibly German Shepherd, and I’m trying to figure out where the rest of my life is headed.

I write to capture things. Feelings, memories, places I’ve been, things I’ve done. I write because there is so much inside me just waiting to be shared. I write for you to know and so I won’t forget.

I’m crafty, I love to bake, and I am in love with all things Harry Potter. Yeah, that’s me and my mom at Harry Potter World in Orlando. I also love dinosaurs. It’s kind of weird.

I spent 3.5 years in Indianapolis where I fell in love with Colts football, but my sports-loving heart belongs to the St. Louis Cardinals.
